Private rural quiet modern annex with breakfast

We look forward to welcoming you to The Cowshed, our former mini cattle barn converted in 2018 to an annex, quiet and independent from our home with beautiful views over rolling fields and farmland to the South Downs National Park ½ mile away. The living and sleeping area has a double bed, sofa, tv, wifi and double doors opening onto a private deck and enclosed garden area. The private ensuite bathroom provides flat access to a large wet room style shower, basin with waterfall tap and toilet. The space Our home enjoys fibre optic broadband wifi which extends to The Cowshed. Mobile coverage is fairly good across most providers bearing in mind you are in the middle of the countryside. We provide a mini fridge and kettle, complimentary tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a variety of snacks on arrival. We will also be pleased to serve you a traditional English Breakfast each morning of your stay at a time that suits your plans (or lack of). We leave a menu and order form in your room to complete and return the night before. The Cowshed faces east across our fields and the area is very peaceful with just the sounds of local farm animals and wildlife. There is periodic traffic along the lane but this should not disturb you and there is a railway line about half a mile away. Access to The Cowshed is via a modern lockable stable door and there are double doors leading out to a private decked area and small enclosed garden area which is safe for a pet to roam around in. The deck faces east to catch the morning sun and has a table and chairs to relax in and enjoy the view over a cup of tea. The area does not lend itself to parties or loud living and we ask you to respect the quiet of the locality. We have a private driveway and plenty of free parking space for your vehicle/s. We can provide storage for bikes and hiking equipment. If you have a friendly dog, we are happy for him/her to stay with you in The Cowshed and to use our fields for exercise. We do ask that you not allow your pet to go on the bed or to stain the bedding, towels or upholstery of your room. We can provide a dog bed and a 'pet towel' upon request. We live in a non smoking environment, inside and out and ask you to please refrain from smoking indoors and should you choose to smoke outdoors, please dispose of your smoking waste cleanly and in receptacles provided so that visiting wildlife does not think it as food and eat it to the detriment of their health
