Clipper Cottage located in beautiful Babbacombe

One bedroom fisherman's cottage situated a stone's throw from the beautiful Babbacombe Downs. This is a quaint spot on the doorstep of the southwest coast path with a selection of places to explore, eat & drink nearby. The cottage itself is a homely place with charm & character. It is my home thus decorated to my taste rather than modern and minimalist. There is one reasonable sized double bedroom with wardrobes, drawers and TV. Use of whole house (other than locked room) including back yard. The space Downstairs is an open plan space separated by staircase **updated photos to follow**. It has a lovely cosy feel whatever the weather. There is a gas fireplace in situ in the living area but this is out of action thus please DO NOT attempt to use. The dining table folds out & you are welcome to move this to suit your needs. As noted, please exercise CAUTION when using the narrow stairs especially on the bend where steps are very shallow in width. The shower room is very compact so please bare this in mind if you are a bigger build!!! If you have a child/baby then please be advised that a travel cot can fit next to the bed if you wish to bring along. I also have a small folding bed which, if requested, can fit alongside or at the end of the bed; snug but feasible. (I've had nieces and nephew for sleepovers). You would, however, need to consider the whole house suitability particularly the stairs as there is no stairgate and small children would require supervision. As this is my home, and not a full time rental property, there may be some personal items around that I cannot store elsewhere. The back courtyard is a work in progress but please feel free to use as your own. Please use the kitchen fridge freezer as yours. I will place any items of mine in the one in the dining area. The kitchen tap has been updated & there is now a dishwasher in situ & an outside tap! Guest access You will have access to the whole house , and courtyard area, other than locked box room. Other things to note Property not recommended for those with mobility issues due to staircase; see photos. A dog lives here, though she will not be here during your stay, thus may not be suitable for persons suffering pet allergies. A folding small single bed can be provided for use in the bedroom on request. I do not have a childs duvet this this would need to brought along.
