Situated in the historic Fishertown area of Nairn, built on the site of the old fishing boat yards by Nairn harbour, a stones throw from the harbour, the river, the links and the beach. No Pets No groups of workers No smokers whatsoever Thank you Guest access This is a private home situated close to Nairn beach and Marina. You'll have the whole house to yourself. Parking is on site on the driveway. Other things to note ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ DAMAGE DEPOSIT OR BONDS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ There is a mandatory £300 damage deposit (aka Security Bond) for every booking. We administer it via Airbnb for complete transparency and return it on departure all being left as it was found. We take a series of photos before and after each stay, you are welcome to take your own too. It's very rare for us to ever have to keep a portion of a deposit. We don't sweat the small stuff, but we will charge for major damage, excess cleaning and missing items. Holiday Rental damage deposits are best practice in the field of holiday rentals. We believe this is the best system to encourage good behaviour and we endeavour to do our best to ensure it's followed fairly. ~~~~ BINS ~~~~ The different coloured bins are emptied on rotation by the Highland Council. Some are only emptied once a month so it’s imperative guests (you) put them out on the street because the council will not collect a bin that is still inside our gate I will try to remind you, but it is your responsibility to put the bin out on Wednesday night, I’ll bring it back in on Thursday after it’s been emptied. I cop a huge charge if the bins are (a) not put out for collection on the Wednesday night/Thursday morning, or (b) incorrect sorting of items. For each week you put the bins out and get emptied, I will refund you £20 at the end of your stay. Apologies if this is a difficult situation but it’s such a simple thing to do for such a big result or consequence. ~~~~~~~~~ OUR HOME ~~~~~~~~~ Ours is a private home, with neighbours who live here year round. We love our neighbours and would like it to stay that way, so please treat them with respect. The main bathroom is upstairs, 2nd loo downstairs. There is a stair gate at the top of the stairs only. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ CHECK-IN INSTRUCTIONS & GUIDEBOOK ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Our check-in instructions will be sent 2 days before your stay. There will be a check-in guide and includes detailed instructions, images and everything else to ensure a smooth check-in and an enjoyable stay. We use What3Words as a tool to provide an exact location of our property. ~~~~~~~~~ CLEANING ~~~~~~~~~ We charge a token cleaning fee which is a fraction of the actual cost. This fee ensures you arrive to a spotlessly clean house, freshly laundered bed linen on every bed, fluffy towels and a few amenities to get you started. The cleaning fee does not include cleaning up after you or washing your dishes. Please ensure you leave the house as you found it, following the guidelines inside. For guests who wish to stay a little longer we are happy to provide you with a cleaning and/or laundry service if you wish with the cost agreed between us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NO PETS - SORRY ~~~~~~~~~~~~~ NO SMOKING OR SMOKERS This is a strictly non-smoking property. We only accommodate non-smokers. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, including entrances, balconies, windows, or common areas. This policy is in place to protect our home and the comfort of future guests. ~~~~~~~~ GUEST ID ~~~~~~~~ All guests must provide at least one ID. Guest information is collected via a secure online check-in. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ STARTER SUPPLIES ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Ours is a self catering holiday home. In order to set realistic expectations, we provide essential starter supplies to make your stay more comfortable. These complimentary supplies comprise shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toilet paper, and a few other items. Please note that these supplies are not intended to last for the entire duration of your booking but are provided to avoid the need to rush to the supermarket immediately upon arrival. If you would like to request mid-stay services at any time during your booking, please inform us. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ TRAVEL COT AND HIGH CHAIR ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ A travel cot and high chair are provided in the home for your free use. Please bring baby's own cot linens or sleeping bag for safety & hygiene reasons. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ RING SECURITY CAMERAS ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Like many homes across the world, we have one Security camera at the front of the house and one at the back which are there for safety and security. The cameras must not be touched, moved, switched off nor the internet interfered with in any way.
