You'll love staying in our welcoming, stylish home from home. Enjoy the unique decor of tartan blankets, plump cushions, soft lighting, plants and paintings. Scottish posters and prints lend a characterful atmosphere and the cosy interior will help you enjoy your get away with friends or family. Bruntsfield's independent cafes and shops are a few steps away making this a perfect retreat. We've been listed as one of Airbnb's best places to stay so you'll always receive a warm welcome here. The space The Bruntsfield Snug makes a perfect retreat and an ideal base for visiting festivals, friends, relatives, attending conferences, or hospital appointments, enjoying shopping expeditions or Festival and Fringe attractions. After a day exploring all the marvellous things the city has to offer, a welcoming and warm space awaits you. We know you'll want to focus on relaxing and having fun. This is a one bedroom Victorian main-door garden flat, that can accommodate up to three guests. (one on a folding bed in the front room). The property consists of a hall leading to a spacious living/dining area, a bejou kitchen, a double bedroom, and bathroom. We have installed a comfortable folding bed which we can set up in the living room. The property boasts original Victorian window rails for security. Eight steps lead down from the front gate, through the pretty front garden, to the front door. We've tried to reflect a little of Scotland's culture in the decor. It's both stylish, warm and cosy. Situated in the popular Bruntsfield area with it's artisan coffee shops, cool boutiques and bars (though with the city centre a short bus ride away) we feel sure you'll enjoy the best Edinburgh has to offer Amenities: The kitchen contains an oven and stove top, under-counter fridge, sink, bin and a few cupboards. A practical utility and storage cupboard contains the washing machine, a clothes horse and moderate storage space. The property is fully-furnished and well-equipped with all that one might need whether staying for a few nights or a month. Towels and bed linen are provided. If you require any further information, please don't hesitate to contact us. Guest access Please note: There is a gate at street level, which leads down two sets of four steps, (eight in total), to the flat's grey front door. We kindly request that visitors contact us, prior to arrival so we can let them know how to retrieve the keys. We thank you for respecting our neighbour's privacy. The property has its own front door, (unusual in Edinburgh where many properties share a communal front door and stairway), which is reached through the property's tiny but pretty front garden. Guests with mobility issues may find this unsuitable, again we are very happy to clarify this before you confirm a booking. Other things to note We would ask that guests contact us before or on arrival. We thank you for respecting our neighbour's privacy. The property has its own front door, eight steps down from street level, (so perhaps not suitable for those with mobility issues). We hope our guests enjoy the small treats we leave. We want you to enjoy your stay. The garden has been designed with year round seasonal colour, fragrance and interest in mind.
