Modern living in a historic farmhouse

In our historic farmhouse in Friedrichsdorf, we have a beautiful two-room apartment with about 50 square meters for guests. The apartment has a fully equipped kitchen in the living and dining room, a bedroom with a double bed, a sofa bed with two beds and a large bathroom with natural light with a double sink and large shower. There is also a private terrace with seating. The space The apartment is located in the rooms of an old blacksmith's shop or workshop. Old and new were combined in consultation with the monument protection. Thus, a brick wall was preserved inside, the antique vaulted ceiling and the old industrial windows were refurbished. Ecological building materials were used. For the cold season, the apartment has underfloor heating. And for those interested in Friedrichsdorf's history: the most famous daughter of the city, Madame Blanc, was born in the courtyard. Children are very welcome here, we have a son ourselves. In front of the apartment there is a seating area, there you can also barbecue. By arrangement, a fire bowl can also be lit. Guest access The apartment has its own separate entrance.
