Hamble River Beds

This luxury, self-catering accommodation is berthed at Cabin Boatyard, on the scenic River Hamble whether business or holiday it offers you a unique experience. For safety reasons, it is unsuitable for children under 5. Made from sustainable and recycled materials, it is fully insulated and has underfloor heating, so you can enjoy this river living experience all year round in complete comfort. Let us know if the booking is for a special occasion. Checkin times are between 4pam and 6 pm. The space The lodge is berthed at Cabin Boatyard, a friendly, family-run business, on the scenic River Hamble. The accommodation is 42ft long by 12ft wide. It can accommodate 2 adults and up to 2 children. Within it, there is a double bedroom, bunk room (suitable for children only), a fully equipped bathroom, a well-appointed kitchen and living area. Just outside the lounge area is a deck area to eat and live al-fresco. This self-catering accommodation is a wonderful place to stay. It is an eco-lodge, built from recycled and sustainable materials. There are 10cms of insulation materials in the floor, walls and ceiling! It also has heat-retaining double glazed windows and doors, keeping your accommodation cosy in the winter months and cool in the summer!….and also quiet! It also has underfloor heating for those colder months. The lounge has a comfortable, leather 2 person sofa, a leather armchair and a footstool with storage. There is a cupboard stocked with games and pamphlets of local takeaways and places of interest. By the sofa, there are also mains plugs, with a USB charging point. This area also has a thermostat to control the underfloor heating. The Pod has 2 televisions aboard so you can settle down to a quiet evening in, if not venturing out to one of the many pubs or restaurants in the area. There is a digital antenna so you can watch your favourite terrestrial TV stations, or stream your favourite content via the internet using the site wifi. Other things to note Due to the accommodation being moored on open pontoons on the river, it is not suitable for children under the age of 5. Please note that in the house rules section, it only states a restriction for 2-12 and we cannot change this range.
