Quiet room in a traditional stone cottage in the centre of a peaceful village in the heart of North Pennines, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and truly unspoiled nature. The cottage is completely refurbished and fully equipped, but still breathes the character of the old house (estimated 200y old). The long distance Pennine Way and C2C cycling route pass through the village, but also Lake District, Hadrian's Wall and Newcastle are less than an hour's drive away. The space Cosy room with typical cottage furniture. On simple request, I can provide breakfast. Guest access Bathroom and fully equipped kitchen are free to use, but shared if there are other guests. During your stay I'll be happy to provide you with all information on the area. North Pennines is a unique environment, remote and wild, but full of beautiful small villages and history (old mines, highest market town in England...)
