Linden Villa is our comfortable home, available during some school holidays and long weekends. Five minutes from the sea in the quiet but popular village of Gurnard, it is an affordable base for seeing all the Island has to offer. The modern, airy living area faces south and opens onto a pretty garden with shrubs, flowers, fruit trees and a lawn. There is an upstairs en-suite bathroom and downstairs shower room. The driveway can accommodate most cars if pulled onto the drive at an angle The space The house is minutes away from the beach at Gurnard with its pebble bathing beach and cafes, and about a mile from Cowes along the coast. It is a comfortable family home; groups of friends and families have enjoyed it in the past, and it is suitable for a beach holiday, walking, cycling and visiting the Island's famous attractions like the Needles, Blackgang Chine, Osborne House and Carisbrooke Castle.We live here all year round but make the house available to Airbnb guests when we are away, usually Airbnb-ing ourselves! Linden Villa was originally a two-up-two-down fisherman's cottage, which we've extended. Please note it is our home, not a commercial let, so the decor may not be state of the art, but it has everything you need for a comfortable stay on the Island Other things to note Ideal for a family, a couple or a group of friends. The bathroom upstairs is en suite. There is a shower room and toilet downstairs. The main bedrooms (upstairs) have one king and one double bed. The downstairs bedroom has a double sofa- bed. As this is an old house, the stairs are quite steep, so if you are bringing very young children we advise that you bring a stair-gate and move anything to make it suitable and safe for them.
