‘Woody’ - Shepherd Hut, Newlands Farm BA5 3ES

Well, here's 'Woody’ & ‘Tin Tin’ our bespoke shepherd huts set in their own little enclosed garden within an acre paddock with views out to the beautiful Mendip plateau. Built by ourselves here at Green Ore glamping & offering warm, cosy, comfortable, all year round two person accomodation for those wishing a little hideaway. The space Woody has hot/cold running water, 240v electric sockets with USB ports, its own en suite with caravan style chemical toilet & a full size rain style shower ( A full flushing toilet is also available within the paddock which serves both huts) A fixed pocket sprung double bed will ensure your comfortable nights sleep & the log burner provides the cosy atmosphere. Basic needs are provided e.g. kettle, tea,coffee with cutlery,crockery, bed linen,towels etc. A barbecue is located in the fenced garden area & charcoal availiable if needed from us at cost price. However, if cooking alfresco is not what you want we have one local pub within 5 mins. walk or three others within a 5 min. drive offering good selections of food/drinks. Also we have a delivered take away service or a bus/drive 10 mins. to the beautiful city of Wells which will cater for all your dining requirements. We have Cheddar & Ebbor gorge, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury Tor, Weston-super-mare all located around us, good cycling/walking routes & of course fantastic shopping at Wells, Bath etc. So plenty to keep you occupied if required or a chilled relaxed stay if not. DOGS 🦮 We do allow well behaved dogs at an additional charge of £10 for each dog, please bear in mind that wandering sheep & chickens may be present ! As per Airbnb guidelines please do not leave pets unattended in the huts. On arrival please park to the immediate left of the field gate in the car park, generally we try to be present here to welcome but, on the off chance no one is here, please start making yourselves at home & enjoying your stay !
