The space Location description The vacation home is located in the climatic health resort of Tanne, which is located in the middle of the Hochharz. From there it only takes a few minutes by car to get to hotspots such as Braunlage am Wurmberg, Schierke or the Torfhaus. Other destinations such as the stalactite caves of Rübeland are also in the immediate vicinity. Destinations such as the Westernstadt in Hasselfelde (10 minutes by car), the Rappbodetalsperre in Elbingerode with the longest suspension bridge in the world (24 minutes by car), the beautiful Wernigerode workshop (30 minutes by car) or Quedlinburg with all its sights (40 minutes by car) are also within easy reach. In addition, many hiking trails start in Tanne, which extend in every direction, from here you can also reach various stamping points of the Harz Wandernadel. Amenities The centerpiece is located in a semi-detached house and has 2 separate bedrooms and a living room. It is equipped with tiles and parquet in all rooms. It has an open living and dining area with an integrated and well-equipped kitchen, which was completely replaced in November 2019 by a new fitted kitchen (stove with ceramic hob, oven, dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, microwave and a wide range of dishes, cutlery, cooking and kitchen utensils), which allows you to comfortably cater for yourself during your stay. We completely renovated and modernized the bathroom for our guests in November 2020. The centerpiece offers a maritime flair and has a cozy fireplace that quickly warms the whole house. A sofa bed is also integrated in the living room, so that up to 6 people can stay in 3 separate rooms. There are external shutters in all rooms. The house is stylishly and harmoniously decorated. Due to its general accessibility, the centerpiece is also suitable for wheelchair users (to overcome the small entrance threshold, we will gladly provide you with a mobile ramp if necessary - please contact us in advance). The bathroom also provides sufficient comfort and freedom of movement thanks to its generously designed shower and integrated seating. Outdoor area The terrace with a southern slope offers a great view of the valley and invites you to relax and unwind. Our guests also have cozy seating options in the outdoor area as well as a modern barbecue cart. In addition, there are parking spaces directly by the house, which are partially covered. Pets must be specified at the time of booking and are also welcome with us at no extra charge. Only a small fee of 15 euros for the final cleaning, allows a particularly thorough preparation for the next guests.
