A luxury thatched cottage situated on a quiet lane, 1 mile from Carndonagh. This superbly presented semi-detached cottage is an idyllic haven for anyone looking a unique break. Furnished to a high standard, this cottage is surprisingly spacious and has been lovingly renovated to provide contemporary fittings combined with traditional aspects that won’t fail to charm you. The space Unwind after a busy day exploring this charming area in front of the warming multi-fuel stove in the beautiful lounge, or why not relax in the roll-top bath and imagine all the adventures still to come on your well-deserved getaway? This is a single level, semi-detached cottage. Entering from a private driveway, you will encounter the lounge which has a multi-fuel stove, sofas, WIFI, Smart TV with saorview/freeview and netflix account. From there you will lead into the luxury King-Size bedroom with wardrobes, drawers and relaxing chairs. Also from the lounge you will lead into the kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, microwave and toaster/kettle etc. The kitchen is fully equipped with all pots, pans, crockery, glasses and utensils and a range of condiments for your use. The bathroom leads off from the kitchen and includes a huge walk in shower and a massive roll-top free standing bath. There is oil fired central heating available to use as well if you choose not to use the stove. The oil fired central heating is on a coin meter basis accepting 1 euro coins. However, the massive stove when lit will provide you with all the heating and hot water you require without using the heating system. Electricity, linen, bedding and towels are included. A starter pack of turf and kindling is provided and there is a large store of turf in the shed to purchase on an honesty box basis at 5 EUR per bag. Full instructions for the cottage are emailed to guests a few days prior to their arrival as the keycode changes on a regular basis. There is also a lot of information available on our website 'whisperingwillowscottages.com' PLEASE NOTE - in the interests of Fire Safety as this is a thatched roofed property, we are not permitted to allow any charcoal or disposable BBQ to be used on the property and cannot allow any fire of any sort within 100m of the property. It is strictly NON SMOKING within the property, thanks Guest access Parking is provided on front of the cottage, it is a safe enclosed space and away from the main road.
