Our guest suite extension to our house is a self-contained area with 1 double bedroom (can be twin beds), 1 shower room and a kitchen/lounge room. The suite has under-floor central heating. Our property has a large garden and a patio area and there is a dedicated off-road parking space for guests. We are in a rural setting, 1 mile from the centre of Aboyne, 30 miles from Aberdeen; ideal location for touring Deeside, South Aberdeenshire and the Cairngorm National Park. The space The Guest Suite is all on the ground floor, with layout designed for full wheelchair access, with ramp to rear entrance. Heating is provided from main house, hence no requirement for carbon monoxide detector. Self-catering, all kitchen equipment, crockery, etc provided. The kitchen has a 2 ring hob, a combi-microwave/oven, an under worktop fridge with ice box, a small dishwasher (in kitchen unit) and a washing machine. There are a good selection of local shops and tea rooms in Aboyne. The local area has a wide variety of walking and biking routes, many accessible direct from the house. The bedroom has two single beds which can be made up as a double bed or as two separate single beds. Please let us know which arrangement you would like when you make a booking. Guest access Access off the street is via a gravel driveway shared with two other houses. Our house is the first one on the right. There is a car parking space available for guests. The Guest Suite is accessed via its own front door. The rear door leads onto a terrace shared with the main house, and then out to the rear garden. There is a bench and table outside the rear wall of the Guest Suite for guest use. If coming in at night, a torch or light from your phone will be helpful as the first half of the driveway has no lights. Other things to note Iron and ironing board in the storage cupboard.
