Welcome to Sarah’s Place. The space is perfect if you’re looking for a stylish place to stay that offers comfort, space + a desk. We’ve furnished the bedroom + bathroom with everything that we hope for when we’re a guest; a mix of creature comforts + practicality. The private bathroom is next door to the bedroom + solely yours during your stay. There are excellent pubs, restaurants + a lovely park, all within walking distance. As well as free road parking. We look forward to hosting you x The space My newly renovated 1930s home has been lovingly brought into the 21st century, whilst retaining all its character filled charm. I hope you’ll love the high ceilings and period features as much as I do, whilst relaxing and enjoying the modern upgrades + amenities I’ve added in too. You’ll be staying on the middle floor of the house, which you’ll have to yourself, including the main bathroom. Giving you more space and privacy than you might expect. THE BEDROOM The large double bedroom overlooks the back of the house into the landscaped garden. I’ve furnished it with what makes me feel comfy and relaxed: • king size bed • fresh soft bed linens • fresh towels • bedside tables and lamps • large mirrors • desk and a chair/dressing table Practical items I’ve provided include: • sheer blind for privacy • blackout blind for easier sleeping • hangers in the built in wardrobe • hairdryer • electric fan, incase it’s a warm evening THE BATHROOM The main bathroom will be solely yours to use and is next to the bedroom on the middle floor of the house. It features: • separate large shower enclosure with a waterfall shower head • bath tub • sink • toilet I provide shower gel and bath soak as standard, plus a basket of miniature toiletries that you’re welcome to use if you’ve forgotten anything. Guest access All of these areas have the potential to be shared with myself and any friends I might have visiting. KITCHEN The kitchen isn’t available for cooking in, however feel free to use the tea and coffee making facilities, or to heat food in the microwave. There will be space on the top shelf of the fridge if you have anything you want to store. You’re able to pop any used plates/bowls/cutlery in the dishwasher. DINER If you order a take away, please feel free to use the dining room table in the kitchen area. Plates, bowls and cutlery will be on hand if you need them. I’m also happy for you to eat in your room, as long as you’re careful. PATIO/GARDEN The patio has a variety of seating areas which you’re welcome to enjoy. If you’re a smoker please only smoke outside. IRONING There is an iron and ironing board available in your room should you need it. During your stay Some days I’ll be in the property more than others, but I’ll happily chat to you about what you need if I’m about. I’ll try to make all instructions clear when you arrive, so to minimize questions or confusion during your stay. But I’m happy for you to text me if anything comes up and I’m not in the house. Also if you have any specific questions or want any recommendations before you arrive, feel free to ask. Other things to note Please note that I don’t allow any guests of yours to visit the property. You are only allowed inside if you’re on the booking. This is our home, and it’s for our safety and peace of mind. Also we have 1 cat called Peppa who mainly stays downstairs and can be quite shy. However there are a couple neighborhood cats who like to come to visit too who are much more likely to want a fuss. So please be aware they may be in the house at some point during your stay too.
