**PLEASE READ FULL LISTING BEFORE BOOKING ** Modern yet Cosy throughout, Torvale Cabin is a 1 double bed plus 1 small double sofa bed, a fully detached property that’s ready to welcome up to 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children, a family or a couple looking to escape somewhere special to stay in Devon. All rooms are beautifully presented and well maintained, there’s plenty of outside space for relaxing and taking a dip in the 3 person Hot Tub. Please note: Additional charges for hot tub & BBQ. The space As you cruise in to the private illuminated driveway you'll get your first glance of the Torvale Lodge flag flying high, (Keep an eye out for the pirate up in the crows nest) as you then turn the corner in to the private car park to the left you will see the sign for the Cabins allocated parking spaces, with the well presented grounds you’ll then know you made the right decision to stay here, then next to the parking you will see the gate for the Cabin (You have arrived!!) Torvale Cabin is fully detached with 1 double bed plus 1 small double sofa bed, neatly tucked away giving you total privacy within it's fenced and hedged gated area situated next to the private illuminated parking area, accommodating up to 4 guests, the two car park spaces beside the Cabin means there’s plenty of space to park, allowing you to take a deep breath after a long journey and get ready to relax. Because that’s what this space is designed to help you do. The kitchen/diner is spacious and modern, it’s in here that you will find everything you need to cater for a group or just look after yourself. There is a hob, cooker/microwave, air fryer and a dishwasher (so no one need waste precious time washing up) and plenty of storage space across the provided amenities. There’s also enough space for you all to sit and enjoy your meals. while chilling out on the sofa you can either watch the 55 inch smart TV with NETFLIX or why not try out our new PS5 with a selection of games, and if that's not for you then just catch some me-time, and plenty of storage space across the provided amenities. Should you wish to connect to the outside world, you’ll have unlimited access to super fast Wi-Fi. The bedroom is smartly furnished and well equipped for all of your necessary needs. When it comes to freshening up, the en-suite is located through the bedroom. The corner sofa will also transform in to a small double sofa bed which is super comfy to give you a fantastic nights sleep. And what of the outside? There’s plenty of space here too, to the front of the Cabin there's a decked area with a table and 4 chairs and sun loungers, also not forgetting the 3 person Hot Tub, then to the rear there's a covered gravel area to sit and relax, including a log fire for your use along with the covered BBQ area with a Bluetooth speaker! (Additional cost of £45 for the Hot Tub & Sauna package) & (Additional £20 cost for the BBQ) This is for the duration of your stay & NOT per night. There is also a private Sauna within the grounds of Torvale for you to use, this sauna is shared with the Pod & Shack but obviously not at the same time!! lol You will also have use of our truly stunning Pirates Cove Crazy Golf Course, complete with clubs, balls & scorecards, the golf course is totally free of charge and you can play to your hearts content, the golf course is also shared with other Torvale guests, then with a press of a button the golf course is fully illuminated up till 9.30pm and makes a great photo opportunity to show your family and friends. The only shared areas are the Golf Couse, Sauna and the Car park (with allocated spaces). Please note: Additional charges for the use of the hot tub & BBQ etc. Other things to note PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR THE FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS If you would like use of the Hot Tub, Sauna or BBQ during your stay, there are additional costs for these items as listed below, These costs are for the duration of your stay and NOT per night. Hot Tub & Sauna package £45 BBQ £20 ( please let us know and we will arrange this for you) **We do charge a £20 fee for bringing a pet. Due to the space, the Cabin is only able to allow one dog to come and stay, unless they are smaller dogs then we can except more. The charge is to cover the cost for a deeper clean, Please do check before booking if you are wanting to bring more than one dog.** If you require sofa bed bedding when only booking for two guests-then this would incur a £15 charge due to the extra linen costs set by our commercial cleaning company. Torvale Lodge Torvale Pod Torvale Shack Frequently asked questions Q: Do you accept a pet to stay at Torvale? A: Yes, we are happy to accept your pet to stay at Torvale, there is an additional charge of £20.00 for the duration of your stay to cover a deeper clean. Q: What time is check in from? A: Check in is from 4pm onwards unless otherwise agreed. Q: Is an early Check in possible? A: Unfortunately, we do not offer an early check in as standard as the property gets fully cleaned, all clean linen etc and re-stocked ready for your arrival. This also includes the changeover of the hot tub to be stripped/cleaned and then brought back up to temperature and checked. If the property is ready earlier then we would contact the guest to notify. Q: What time is check out? A: Check out is strictly by 10am. This avoids delays for the cleaning team cleaning/preparing the property for our next guests. Q: Can you offer a late Check out option? A: Unfortunately we are unable to offer a later checkout than 10am as the cleaning team arrive just after 10am to start the changeover process ready for the next guests. Q: Are all towels and linen supplied? A: Yes, all towels and linen are supplied including dedicated Hot Tub/Sauna towels. Q: Do you supply any condiments/essentials? A: Yes, we supply a nice selection of condiments/essentials to get you started on your break i.e toilet roll, shower gel, shampoo, various sauces, teas/coffees etc. Q: How much parking is there and is it FREE? A: Each accommodation as listed below has its own FREE allocated parking area which is covered by CCTV. Torvale Lodge = 4 x spaces, Torvale Cabin =2 x spaces, Torvale Pod = 2 x spaces, Torvale Shack = 2 x spaces, Q: Is there an electric car charging point in the guest’s car park. A: Unfortunately there isn’t a charging point in the guest’s car park as of yet, Q: Is the charge for the extras i.e. the Hot Tub, Sauna or BBQ on a per night basis or for the duration of the stay? A: The charge stated for the extras i.e. the Hot Tub, Sauna or BBQ is for the duration of the stay, NOT per night. Q: When do we pay for the extras i.e. the Hot Tub, Sauna or BBQ etc? A: A Payment request will be sent to you through Airbnb approximately one week before your stay for any extras you wish to add. Q: Are the Hot Tubs undercover? A: Torvale Lodge = Yes, Torvale Cabin = partly , Torvale Pod = Yes, Torvale Shack = Yes. Q: Are the BBQ’s undercover? A: Torvale Lodge = Yes, Torvale Cabin = Yes, Torvale Pod = Partly, Torvale Shack = Yes. Q: Is the Crazy Golf Course shared with other guests? A: Yes, all four of the holiday homes have access to the Crazy Golf Course. Q: Is there an additional cost for the use of the Crazy Golf Course and equipment? A: No the Crazy Golf Course and equipment is FREE of charge for all Torvale guests. Q: Who has use of the Sauna? A: Only the guests of Torvale Cabin, Pod & Shack as the Lodge has it's own Sauna. Q: Is there other people staying within the grounds? A: Yes, Torvale grounds consists of four properties in total which could possibly be occupied. These properties are all detached and totally private from one another each having their own facilities. Q: Is there a Supermarket/Shops nearby? A: Yes, there is a Morrison’s supermarket local to Torvale which is approximately a 10-minute drive, as an alternative there are also village stores in the nearby village of Elburton, approximately a 5-minute drive away. Q: Is there Pubs or Restaurants nearby? A: Yes, in the nearby village of Brixton there is a cosy village pub/restaurant called The Foxhound Inn which is also next to the excellent Brixton Fish & Chip takeaway. If you are driving, the next village of Yealmpton also has the Rose & Crown which has a large outside seating area and an excellent reputation for food. Then there are a few more pubs/restaurants & takeaways in the nearby village of Elburton just a 5-minute drive away. Q: Recommended local places to visit. A: We have produced a places of interest map on the wall of each property and there is also leaflets in each of the properties. Q: What is Torvale’s What 3 words location? A: Torvale’s What three words location is: Wizard - Lime - Calm. Q: Can a guest be added to my reservation? A: You are usually able to amend the number of guests staying on your reservation if the property is a suitable size. The price and payment will adjust accordingly and is all done through Airbnb. Lodge: Extra guests cost: £25.00 p/p per night, Cabin, Pod & Shack: Extra guests cost: £15.00 p/p per night, Q: While staying at Torvale can I extend my stay? A: Yes, you can extend your stay subject to availability, any change to the stay must be done no later than 24 hours before you are due to check out so we can inform the cleaning company. We will do our best to accommodate your request. Q: Is there any baby equipment provided? A: The below is provided free of charge, (please state when booking if required) 1 x High chair. 2 x Booster seats. 2 x Travel cots, thin mattress. No linen provided.
