Hoping for your understanding Other things to note Monsegur (5 mins drive) is fast becoming a centre for painters and sculptors with a very lively cafe and restaurant scene and weekly night market You are in the middle of the vineyards so no end of quality wines at economic prices; join a wine tour just 10 mins drive from us. From June, there are music festivals across the area; particulalrly Jazz, Blues and Swing....don't miss the of '24 Hours of Swing' festival - 3 days in Monsegur playing jazz whilst you drink hot choclate or glass of Aperol; browse the many antique markets but above all let your children have the time of their lives! Jazz is everywhere, restored castles to explore; each weekend a festival, antque fairs and a night market to try tasty local food Try coming May/June (loads of sunshine, pleasantly warm) the light will charm you The warm summer months of July, August & September are a joy for swimming and long BBQs but think also about later September which are mostly lovely. Thick stone walls and shutters keep the house cool in summer, cooling fans are available If you decide to come in the cooler months, we may make a charge for firewood and if you ever need them - electric fan heaters! And St Emilion, a world heritage site is just 20 mins drive - not to be missed
