The surface of the apartement is 60 m2 (645 sq, ft). We invite you to enjoy the meadow around the house extending to the edges of the old Huningue canal. Built in the early 19th century it connects Huningue near Basel with Kembs and further down-river with Mulhouse and Colmar, the cities of Southern Alsace. Our location offers a splendid view on the vineyards of Blansingen (Baden Margraeflerland) on the hills across the Rhine River. There are some first class restaurants in town: L'Écluse, La Peniche, Le Petit Kembs, and City Grill each offering local Alsation and international cuisine. The public bus service to Basel has a bus stop right in front of our house entrance. The transit time to Basel is app. 35 min. Should you wish there also is a limousine service. My wife, Genevioève and I are perfectly fluent in English, German and French. We would enjoy very much to welcome you and make your stay as comfortable as possible. Guest access You are welcome to park your car in the court yard, use our main house entry and the staircase into the apartment on the second floor.
