The Cottage, Gîtes de Bernet near Monein

Set in 3 hectares Gites de Bernet forms part of our old Bearnais farm, surrounded by rolling vine covered hills and with views of the Pyrenees. The Cottage is a modern gite converted from one of the ancient barns on the property. It has been fully equipped to meet the exacting French 3 star classification. With a sunny west facing aspect, it enjoys rural views of the Jurançon countryside. A perfect place to relax away from everyday life. The space Enjoying the outdoor lifestyle, hiking, cycling, and exploring all that this region has to offer. Sightseeing and culture, from Pau, the regions capital, to the areas chateaux and fortresses, to the Basque coast or Spain. The mountains, just an hour away offer fantastic skiing in winter, and plenty of opportunity for activities and days out year round. The vineyards are a major feature of the area, and well worth visiting and our region is rightfully proud of its gastronomy. Guest access The gite has it's own private terrace and garden area. There is also a large field reserved for guests use, whether it be for badminton, frisbee or just soaking up the sun.
