The Laurels - a peaceful spot in village location

The Laurels offers one storey comfortable accommodation for young families; adults; and those wanting to explore the surrounding area. The lounge/dining room with patio doors overlooks the large, south facing, enclosed garden. As grandparents to a number of young children, we have toys and games for your use. 1 cot and 2 cotbeds are available by prior arrangement for young families and will easily fit as extras in the bedrooms. Sorry no pets / no smoking inside the property! The space The Laurels has a large private garden, which is ideal for a BBQ, a glass of wine and a place for the children to play. The kitchen is well fitted and equipped. The light and airy lounge, which overlooks the back garden, has Smart TV and DVD player. Bedroom 1 can be set up as either a superking or twin bedded room. It has its own ensuite shower room, walk in wardrobe and TV. Bedroom 2 with king sized bed overlooks the garden. Bedroom 3 has a trundle bed with an underneath pull out bed with single mattress. This can be set up as another single bed if needed. The tiled main bathroom has a corner suite bath with overhead shower. Washer/tumble drier and additional sink are available for your use in the utility room. Within walking distance is the beautiful Newstead Abbey Park as well as 3 pubs/restaurants; 3 young children's play areas; tennis courts; and shops including a delicatessen/butchers, pharmacy, supermarkets, and post office. Other things to note The property is always thoroughly cleaned prior to the arrival of new guests. Also cleaning and sanitising products are left in the property for your use. There is on site parking for up to 3 cars.
