Le Scalette (studio apartment)

A tasteful, fully restored studio apartment with kitchen and shower bathroom. It is located near the highest piazza in an enchanting medieval castle, which is untouched by mass tourism. It is the perfect place for a tranquil visit, walks in nature, etc. There is no TV; WiFi is available at the village bar. GUESTS STAYING 3 OR MORE NIGHTS AND ARRIVING/DEPARTING BETWEEN 7:30AM and 9PM will be met at Poggio Mirteto Station, 6 km away. THERE IS NO PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION TO OUR VILLAGE. The space It is an artistically decorated and stunningly lovely space dating from 1300 or before, with original ceiling beams and arch. It includes a kitchen area with cooker and full sized frig-freezer. There is a portable, steel frame narrow bed available on request, and suitable for a child or for an accommodating third adult. Guest access A car is recommended. GUESTS WITHOUT CAR AND STAYING ONLY 2 NIGHTS SHOULD HURRY OFF THE TRAIN AT POGGIO MIRTETO AND TAKE THE STATION BUS (when available), EXITING AT THE EMMEPIU' SUPERMARKET. FROM THERE IT IS A 2 KM (1.2 MILE) WALK TO BOCCHIGNANO WITH YOUR BACKPACKS . ALTERNATIVELY, CALL ALBERTO'S TAXI ON 39-333-630-4891. Other things to note The BnB is accessed using paths with stairs and is NOT suitable for persons in wheelchairs. We met guests in person, but for those arriving at night, there is a map in the photos showing the location of the apartment.
