This modern two-bedroom studio offers a comfortable, self-contained base with an open-plan living area, well-equipped kitchen, shower room and your own outdoor deck overlooking birch woodland. It’s a peaceful spot to unwind after a day out, whatever the season. The kitchen includes a hob, oven, microwave, fridge and dining table for four. The living area has a TV, DVD player, radio, books and board games, making it easy to relax indoors on winter evenings. Complimentary tea, coffee, milk and sugar are provided on arrival. Upstairs, the master bedroom has a 5ft bed, clothes storage and views over the deck and woodland. The twin bedroom features two cosy single beds with storage and views up the hill, making the space well suited to couples, small families or friends travelling together. Outside, guests have access to a private decked seating area and on-site parking. Secure bike storage is available in the locked garage. The studio is within easy reach of woodland walks, The Fairy Glen waterfalls, Rosemarkie Beach and the Moray Firth coastline. Local pubs, cafés and restaurants are close by, including The Crofters down by the beach, perfect for a relaxed meal and local beer. The small town of Cromarty is about 6 miles away , with its history, museums , art and crafts. Whether you’re visiting family, walking, cycling or simply looking for a quiet Highland base, the studio offers comfort, privacy and convenience in all seasons. Guest access Guests have on-site parking and use of a private outdoor deck with seating next to the garden studio. Secure bike storage is available in the locked garage. A selection of books, board games and DVDs is provided for guests to enjoy during their stay. Tea, coffee, hot chocolate , milk provided, along with a small welcome basket . Other things to note Whilst guests have access to cooking facilities, we suggest trying some of the amazing local pubs and restaurants. The closest pub "The Plough" is just at the end of The Fairy Glen Nature Reserve and a great place to stop and get a pint and a pizza for lunch . There are distilleries to sample and local breweries ( The Cromarty Brewery and The Black Isle Brewery. You can walk along to Crofters or the beach cafe in Rosemarkie or a little further to IV10, The Anderson, in Fortrose. There are plenty of excellent restaurants in all the villages , catering for all tastes. Our accommodation is: 5 minutes walk to the top waterfall of The Fairy Glen Nature Reserve. 10 minute cycle up the hill to Learnie Red Rock Mountain Bike Trails 20-30 minute walk into the village of Rosemarkie and to Rosemarkie Beach. A further 30 minute walk along the beach will take you to Chanonry point where you might see a few local Moray Firth Bottlenose dolphins.
