Description
The accommodation is in a barn conversion set in beautiful surrounding countryside and farmland. There is a separate entrance to the guest accommodation with a key safe for independent and easy access. We are situated down a little used lane between the historic town of Sandwich and the small village of Ash. We are a short drive away from the nearest shops and pubs, but only a 5-10 minute walk away from Sandwich Fishing Lakes and Waterside Cafe. The space The Accommodation: The room is very large 15' x 22' 6" (4.57m x 6.85m) with high, rustic beams, a king size bed, double wardrobe, chest of drawers, fold-away desk, Wi-Fi and a comfy sofa/TV area. There are views of our garden and fields beyond from the windows where you are likely to spot a very wide variety of birds; woodpeckers, finches, parakeets, redwings and fieldfare to name but a few. The small, private shower room is next to the bedroom (not en-suite) and accessed via our utility room. There is a step to enter the shower. There are tea/coffee making facilities (tea, coffee, fresh milk, sugar, biscuits and sweet ‘treats’ provided) and a small fridge. Guests are welcome to use the sink in our utility room to fill the kettle, wash up cups etc. There is ample free parking on the lane outside the property. There is no garden access (we have dogs and ponies) and although there are no cooking facilities available, there are several excellent places to have breakfast very close by. Please no smoking and no pets. Guest access Please note the utility room is a shared area although we try to use it as little as possible when we have guests staying, especially in the evenings and early in the morning. There is no access to the garden as we have pets, although please ask if you’d like to meet Immy and Spirit our miniature Shetland ponies! During your stay We hope to welcome you and then give you space to enjoy your stay. We are happy to answer your questions and/or make suggestions by text message or in person.
