Also nearby is Glen Affric - the most beautiful Glen in the Highlands - Culloden battlefield, Dolphin watching, Whisky tasting. The Isle of Skye and Glen Coe are a mere hour and a half away. An ideal spot for the NorthCoast 500 its worth making us your base for a memorial holiday. We have a wealth of information , tips on scenery, wildlife, walking, history and eating out so you get the most from your stay. You can walk to a restaurant from here or enjoy one of the many good dining options in Drumnarochit or Inverness. Highland Bear Lodge is set in 14 acres of woodland and lawn so you can truly escape. Guest access You can enjoy our spectacular lounge with huge fireplace, books and magazines and comfortable (new ) sofas. We have 3 rooms so there may be other guest in the lounge but it is large. In summer months you can enjoy the grounds and terrace seating area with spectacular view.
