Beautiful apartment in a traditional chalet

Located in the Conches Valley, in the village of Reckingen, this duplex in a 17th century chalet – one of the largest in Obergoms – can accommodate up to 10 people. An ideal place for mountain and family vacations in the most authentic region of Switzerland. In high season, rental is only from Saturday to Saturday. The space Residing in the Conches Valley, in Reckingen, is a return to the roots and authenticity of the Swiss landscape; yes, yes, the one from the postcards. A natural area, no fuss. The duplex is an attic apartment with 5 bedrooms on the ground floor and living areas on the second floor. It is a haven for families who want to get together during their vacations, and an ideal starting point for skiers, cross-country skiers, hikers, etc. As in all the chalets in the region, the ground floor where the bedrooms are located does not have a very high ceiling (between 1.85 m and 2 m) while on the 1st floor, the rooms (living room, dining room with Swedish stove, library, kitchen) are gigantic and under the eaves, ideal for family gatherings or relaxation. Cooking All kitchen equipment is available to guests: fridge, freezer, washing machine, coffee maker, fondue pot, raclette grill (4 people), slicer, etc. Guest access The apartment is located on the top 2 floors of the chalet. Wooden stairs lead to it. Parking The communal parking lot adjacent to the chalet (south side) is available to guests arriving by car. In summer, a 2nd parking lot (north side) is also available for guests. Skiing There's a ski room in the basement for equipment storage. Other things to note As far as you can, we would like to rent the apartment from Saturday to Saturday, especially during the following vacation periods: - end of December-beginning of January - February vacation - Easter holidays That said, we remain flexible.
