Loft appartment in the Alps

Charming flat on the second floor of a traditional building from 1702. 5 minutes walk from the railway station, in the middle of village. Our village Reckingen is located in the east end of Wallis/Valais. This is a very authentic area of Switzerland with villages with traditional timber buildings from the 17-1800's. Our house if from 1702 and is situated in the old village centre, close to bakery, butchers shop, cheese makery and grocery store. Wonderful for hiking, skiing or just relaxing The space A nice top flat in a traditional house from 1702 (with a scandinavian touch to the interior) in the charming village of Reckingen, Switzerland (kanton Wallis). The flat has one bedroom with a double bed and a children's cot. In addition to this there is a larger living, dining, kitchen area with all necessary equipment. The bathroom is tiny, shower and toilet, with the sink situated in the hallway. Simple standard, but functional. Design from the 1960´s but everything works. Hosts can be contacted in English, German, and of course Norwegian. Guest access The entire flat is at your disposal. Access to washing machine in the basement. Please let us know if you plan to use this, and I will have my father in law show you how it works (or I will do my best per airbnb message) Parking place in front of house (under the apple tree). Free internet access, television and parking possibilities in the front of the house. Other things to note We are located in Bergen/Norway, but are easy to reach by email or phone. My parents in law are in the village and will be at hand with what you might need for your stay.
