Big flat in refurbished old house, next to the parish church, in one of the most typical streets in the old town of Zumaia. Bright and spacious with views over the harbour and the river and only five min. walk from Itzurun beach. Local surf info. Registration nº LSS00030. The space The building is in the center of the old town of Zumaia. Its southern side surprises us with a four-floor height, when we had gone up just one from the entrance. Two windows and a balcony provide great bright during the day, as well as gorgeous views over the harbour, the Urola river's estuary and the main shopping street in town Guest access Bathroom, kitchen, living-room, wi-fi, TV, washing machine. During your stay I work as a freelancer and I spend quite a lot of time in my studio, in one of the rooms of the flat, so I may be able to answer your questions and doubts at any time. I like getting to know the people who visit me, so I’ll be glad to share experiences and stories. However, if you are looking for peace and quiet, I will respect it, of course. Every host is different and unique and I try to adapt to them :-) Other things to note The surrounding area is extremely interesting from a environmental view. The beach and the cliffs up to the nearby town of Deba are a protected biotope included in the Basque Coast Geopark. Guided tours on foot or by boat can be booked either at their website ((URL HIDDEN) or in the Algorri Information Centre (URL HIDDEN) The area is also well-known by surfers from all over the world. Just walk downstairs and you will be able to see what the waves look like in some of the most renowned spots of the area (Orrua, Rokaputa, Playa Gris).
