The village, located in a strategic point between Brindisi and Taranto, is about 20 km from the blue sea of the Ionian Sea with its golden sandy beaches and is not far from Lecce, a city of art and famous for the Baroque. In the historic center of Francavilla you can admire and visit the beautiful Imperial Castle, dating back to the 15th century, and walk through its narrow streets between ancient palaces and baroque churches and small restaurants with typical Apulian cuisine.
