Lilac cottages overlooks the Menai Strait.The location is fabulous & we are on the doorstep for Beaumaris, Menai Bridge & Snowdonia mountain range.And if you are looking for accommodation whilst attending a function at Chateau Rhianfa,we are right across the road.LGBT friendly too The space Our "upside down" cottage is laid out with the lounge, guest bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor to take advantage of the breathtaking views. The kitchen and our living area is on the ground floor, allowing our guests to relax and enjoy the break upstairs with minimal intrusion. The main double bedroom is airy and looks directly our onto the Menai Straits. The second bedroom takes in the same view over two aspects. Both are decorated in bright neutral colours. The bathroom, of which you will have exclusive use, boasts heated floor, a deep spacious bath and large relaxing shower. Continental breakfast is offered and will be served in the lounge, in front of our floor to ceiling glass doors or on the balcony in fine weather to enable you to enjoy the views across the water and over to the Snowdonia mountain range. We are ideally situated for exploring the North Wales coastline including Anglesey and Snowdonia. Guest access Guests have two double bedrooms situated on the 1st floor next to a family bathroom which is solely for their use. Along the corridor, guests have the use of the bright open lounge with the superb views over The Straits, with minimal intrusion from ourselves. Each room has tea/coffee making facilities. During your stay I will be here to welcome you on your arrival and will provide advice ahead of time regarding parking. I am happy to share my knowledge of the area and offer advice on places to visit and where to eat. In general, Billy and I will be downstairs, leaving you to enjoy the first floor alone. But we're happy to natter if you like! Other things to note We are a very short distance away from the Anglesey coastal path that takes you to numerous beautiful beaches on the island. South Stack nature reserve is a must for all bird lovers and Beaumaris offers laid back boat trips to visit the seals and puffins. Diving days at sea and rib rides to get away to the idyllic Llanddwyn island. The Zip wire is here too, its the fastest in the world and the longest in europe. And not to forget we are only 30 minutes away from Holyhead Port which takes you across the Irish sea to Dublin. Snowdonia National Park is a stones throw away, offering something for the more adventurous, including Snowdon the tallest mountain in Wales.
