Les Frênes - Malvy Island

Small private island located between Angouleme and Cognac, on the path of the bike path "La Flow vélo", in the immediate vicinity of the pretty beach of Le Bain des Dames. House with adjoining garden overlooking the river. The space The house has a private garden overlooking the river with direct access to the river for swimming and launching nautical equipment. Apart from the pool, you can taste the pleasure of swimming in the river. The house is located on Malvy Island, a small private island of just over1 hectare. It is part of the beautiful village of Mosnac-Saint-Simeux and is accessed by a bridge. It's nestled in a green valley and sheltered by the river that surrounds it, so it's a very quiet place. You can discover the banks of the Charente on a canoe, paddle board or bike ride. The bike flow, a bike path, is less than a 1-minute walk from the island. Unless you prefer hiking to discover the pretty trails around. For a cultural getaway, the island is conveniently located between Angouleme and Cognac, a 25 and 45 minute drive respectively. These cities benefit from the city of art and history label and many parties and events are scheduled there all year round. There are numerous villages and sites to visit as well as many activities close to the island. Many activities are offered on the pretty seaside site of Le Bain des Dames, which is located like the island of Malvy, on the route of the bike path "La Flow vélo" (pretty sandy beach supervised in summer, slides, swings, ziplining, archery, paddleboarding, pedal boat, kayaking, health course, boulodrome...). Guest access You have the house and its adjoining garden to yourselves. Each house has a private garden. The residents of each house cannot cross paths if they confine themselves to the part of the garden that is dedicated to them. But nothing prevents you from getting to know each other, it's up to you. You also enjoy shared spaces between the Maison des Aulnes, the Maison des Frênes and your hosts: park and private wood (10,000 m2 of land in total), swimming pool (5 m x 10 m) and 160 m2 games room. Outside the pool, you can enjoy the pleasure of swimming in the river. Other things to note You can order your groceries in advance: there is a Super U drive-through in Chateauneuf-sur-Charentes (5 minutes' drive from the house). You have a number of terminals at Super U to recharge your electric vehicle.
