Self contained detached rural studio in the heart of Dorset, with lovely views over open countryside designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty (National Landscapes). Set in 5 acres which includes the main residence of the owner. The accommodation is of modern open plan design, which includes a kitchenette/breakfast area, lounge, and bedroom area with en suite. As we are in the countryside there is no public transport, so a car is essential. EV charging is available (shared). The space Peace and tranquillity in the heart of 'Thomas Hardy' country. The rural Studio is to a contemporary design and equipped with mod cons, including wifi and TV. The kitchenette is equipped with a fridge which has a separate freezer compartment. Although there is no oven, a combination microwave (inc small electric oven & grill) is provided, along with an induction hob, electric pizza maker, toaster, kettle etc. The accommodation is self catering and to start you off, some breakfast essentials are provided, including tea and coffee, sugar, cereal, milk, bread, butter spread and homemade jam. Hand and bath towels provided. Bed linen is provided. The Studio is situated in the grounds of the main house, and is approached via a shared driveway. It has its own parking area which is shared with the owners. Large sliding glass doors lead out onto your own patio area, with outdoor seating and 5 acres of ground. Ideally located for exploring the beautiful Dorset villages, towns, countryside and Jurassic Coast, as well as for walking and cycling Guest access Guests have access to their own patio overlooking a flower bed with views beyond, as well as shared access with the owners to 5 acres of ground, with seating and a mown path around the perimeter. Also shared access to the owners productive vegetable and cut flower garden which also has seating. There is also a seat on a mound overlooking the countryside and ideal for viewing sunsets. Other things to note As we are in the countryside there is no public transport, so a car is essential. We have an EV charger for our personal use which is available to guests upon request. The charger is a Zappi 7 kwh type 2 with a tethered lead. Guests will be charged for the electric used at the current rate we are being charged by the utility company. We add no profit to the total we are charged.
