The Gîte des Colombes is a romantic house, with 4 bedrooms, very quiet, large green courtyard-patio, pergola, swimming pool; relaxing, cultural or nature holidays, in the center of the charming medieval village without a car Access to the Wellness Area: sauna, small pool, massage on request, extra charge River swimming, local organic market, Cathar castles, vineyards and abbeys, music festivals, and book banquet in the village 30 minutes from the Mediterranean Sea. The space The house we offer is our family vacation home. It is typically a southern vacation home, with warmth and cicadas at the rendezvous, where you can relax and enjoy the passing time. Naps, meals under the wisteria and swimming in the river... For a wellness stay: free access swimming pool; sauna, and Thai massage of the elements (on request and at extra cost) The village is car-free, so you only hear birds and children can move around freely. The house itself is furnished with family furniture, and you will find books and games. Note: if you come for a weekend off-season, you can stay until 6 p.m. on Sunday! We offer "relaxing" weekends, with unlimited à la carte access to the sauna, spa, pool and Thai massage area (additional payment) and a possibility of YOGA or PILATES classes Description: on the ground floor: Landscaped courtyard-garden, tree-lined, with table for eating under the wisteria, garden furniture, access by a staircase to the sauna area, bathroom - toilet and (mini) heated and salt-treated pool, wooden terrace kitchen-dining room overlooking the patio, living room on the first floor: large bedroom with king-size bed, air-conditioned, overlooking a large shaded and sheltered terrace central bathroom (shower-toilet) and 2nd bedroom 2 beds and bookcase, fan 2nd floor: large bedroom with double bed, air-conditioned, central bathroom (shower-toilet) 2nd bedroom with 2 beds equipped with fans The sunny rooms are equipped with air conditioners, the rooms in the shade of fans; all have a private bathroom (sink, mirror, storage unit). The house is in the center of the medieval village, pedestrian, right next to the covered halls where the market of local and organic products of very good quality is held every Saturday morning. It is possible to bring the car to the door to unload groceries or suitcases, before going to park in one of the mandatory and paid municipal parking lots (cheap: 3 euros per day but to be paid upon arrival under penalty of a ticket!). Guest access The house is entirely reserved for you. We welcome you to the pool-sauna-jacuzzi and washing machine area, which is a space shared with us. We can also make our pool bike available to you if you have any sports desires! You have the patio and courtyard reserved for you as you wish, but we can cross them to get to the pool (usually early in the morning or late in the evening) or to use the washing machine located in the sauna-pool area. Don't hesitate to contact us to organize a wellness stay, or to have meals delivered to the house Other things to note The house is ideal for a wellness stay: swimming pool with free access, sauna on request; You can also enjoy a Thai massage of the elements, by reservation, or even a pilates or yoga class... to be planned with us at the time of booking. If you want to be greeted by a good meal at home when you arrive, we can have it delivered by a restaurant in the village. Large noisy parties are not allowed. Thank you for taking this into account. We do not accept pets because we have our own and they do not necessarily appreciate sharing their space, even if they will not be there when you come!
