Harbourside Heart of Falmouth - Fabulous views

Welcome to our first-floor apartment located on the harbour-front of Falmouth. Awaken to stunning sea, harbour and headland views from the living room. You will discover an array of great restaurants, bars, cafe's, and shops virtually on your doorstep. A short 5 mins walk to the pier for local ferry and boat trips. Both bedrooms have comfortable double beds, quadruple glazing, blinds and black-out curtains. Public car park behind apartment. Weekly linen laundry service included in 2+ week stays. The space You access the apartment from a communal door entrance (code operated) situated on Church Street (the main road through Falmouth town centre running parallel to the harbour) and then by using a self-serve guest lockbox to access the key for our apartment on the 1st floor. The two bedroom apartment is a quality conversion of a 19th century building. You will have full use of the apartment including two good size double bedrooms, a large walk-in shower, and cozy kitchen/lounge/dining area with large sash window to take in the views. We love watching the changing scenery of boats coming and going just outside the window with romantic twinkling lights at night. Watching the sunrise over the harbour is particularly recommended. We keep the apartment cleaned to a high standard. Guest access Our apartment is situated above Church Street public car park giving you convenient parking (except during Falmouth Events week - usually first 2 weeks of August when this car park is closed (the next nearest public long stay car park, The Quarry (TR11 2BX) is a 10 min 0.4 mile walk; and the next nearest short term car park (Well End TR11 3DJ) is a 2 min walk (100 metres)- allowing evening/overnight parking and <3 hours during the day. Note sometimes you cannot drive to Church Street car park between 11am and 4pm daily although you can exit the car park at any time. This happens during Falmouth Events week (usually between July 25th and August 14th) If arriving during 11am-4pm, the next nearest car park is Well Lane public car park which is just a 2 minute walk downhill to the apartment. Alternatively, there are other nearby town centre car parks/on-street free parking spaces within walking distance. Or why not come by train? It's a 15 minute walk from Falmouth Town Train Station which is served from a branch line from Truro which is on the London to Penzance route. Ferry rides / boat trips to St Mawes, Flushing and Mylor available from the nearby piers. Other things to note Only suitable for guests accepting to be in middle of hustle and bustle of this vibrant seaside and student town often noisy into the early hours. We have installed secondary glazing with acoustic laminated glass and black-out curtains which helps block out some of the noise, but light sleepers should look elsewhere as it's not totally soundproof. The building has no lift so is not suitable for people with mobility restrictions as it's a fairly steep and narrow flight of stairs to our 1st floor apartment.
