Modern designer house in the center of Pontedeume

VilaFraggleRock is a family home that we have rebuilt from scratch. Despite its classic façade, its interior surprises, showing a much more modern, spacious and comfortable design. It has 4 floors, a full kitchen, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and several rooms, including a work area and two sofa beds. It is located on one of the most central streets in the historic center of Pontedeume. It is quiet but close to the town hall, market, and local shops. The space As can be seen in the photographs, the house is newly built, with a facade similar to the original, but renovating its entire interior, trying to provide comfortable, cozy and quality spaces. Its exposed metal structure, mixed with wood and glass, gives a modern touch within a historic hull that creates a unique contrast that is difficult to describe. The house has a reduced width, typical of the fishermen's houses in the area, and the common spaces are continuous and without divisions, to provide the maximum possible amplitude. It has two balconies and two skylights on the roof, which provides a lot of light on the upper floors. As for the layout, on the ground floor, after passing the hall, we find the living room, kitchen, in this area we have sofas and a television, large extendable table plus an extra one, fully equipped kitchen, and finally a full bathroom. Going up to the first floor, we have the living room with a balcony, a leather sofa bed, TV, desk and office chair, small bar furniture and the first bedroom, which has a trundle bed with two 90x190 mattresses. On the second floor, we have the master bedroom with an exterior balcony, a 150x190 bed, a common area with another sofa bed, and a full bathroom. Going up to the top floor, we arrive at the most surprising area, the glass walkway, with a room on each side, what we call the hanging room, which has a low double bed, a bench with storage, and which is closed by curtains. On the other side, the room with twin beds, which we can place together (180x190) or separate. Both rooms have a skylight. Guest access Pescadería Street is one of the most important streets in the village. It is the street that goes up to the Church of Santiago. It is pedestrian and has a great tradition. It has no hospitality establishments on the street itself, but it is surrounded by the municipal market on one side and the town hall square on the other. It has a high-quality supermarket 20 meters away, as well as bakeries, hairdressers, and other local businesses. As it is a pedestrian street, parking is prohibited. You can go up to leave your luggage, but the market area and Porto Street usually have parking without a problem. On Saturdays there is a big market, and on these days it is better to park at the port or at the gas station.
