The space A well-presented self-contained first floor studio set in beautiful North Shropshire countryside close to the town of Market Drayton and the historic town of Shrewsbury. Chester, Telford, Ironbridge and many other visitor’s attractions are all easily reachable. The quaint village of Wollerton is home to Wollerton Old Hall gardens, it is close to Hodnet Gardens and Hawkstone follies. The space The studio is set in beautiful North Shropshire countryside close to the town of Market Drayton and the historic town of Shrewsbury. We are also only a 15 minute drive from Alderford Lake for open swimming, watersports and triathlons The accommodation Our studio sleeps 3 plus there is an extra folding bed for a fourth guest (ideal for child). The studio sits adjacent but separate from our home. It's located on a large plot and offers use of the secluded patio with table, chairs and open gardens. It has its own private entrance and offers plenty of free parking, local walks and fantastic views over the countryside. There is also a local gastro pub nearby. The studio comprises of one large open-plan room with kitchen area, en-suite shower room and is well appointed with a dining table and chairs. The kitchen area is well equipped with basic amenities (kettle, toaster, microwave) to cook breakfast and small meals. tea and coffee are provided. We can also provide a selection of cereals, bread and preserves for toast at a small additional cost. TV, PVR, stereo and WiFi internet access are all available for use. Linen and towels are also included. Guest access We are a family friendly home and (as passionate petrol heads) welcome classic car owners, cyclists and motorcyclists, and may be able to offer secure parking for special vehicles – please contact us for further details before booking. Our home is a newly built, eco-friendly, modern house that is sympathetic to the local countryside and wildlife. The studio is a comfortable, spacious, clean and very accommodating room with great open views of the countryside. Other things to note The price is based on 2 people sharing the King bed with an additional guest charge for the provision of bedding for the additional 2 beds. If you are booking for 2 people but wish to use both the bed and sofa bed please let us know at the time of your request to ensure additional bedding and towels are booked. Maximum occupancy is 4 people. However the space is best suited to couples looking for a quiet break in the countryside. Check-in is usually 3pm & check out at 11:00. Please let us know if you have any special requirements and we will do our best to accommodate them. A couple of things to note: Firstly, the kitchenette is only really suitable to preparing snacks, or reheating food, as it only contains a microwave, toaster and a small electric saucepan. There is no oven or hob. Secondly, as we are rural mobile reception varies from sporadic and weak to non-existent depending on provider. If you need 5G (or even 4G) you will be out of luck. Finally, if you will need a taxi you will need to book this we in advance. Uber has not reached us yet
