arco, a charming nest for foodies

Arco apartment is part of a stone farmhouse named Tranquigliano, that dates back to 1600. In the family since 5 generations, the building has been meticulously restored in 2019 with the care and attention that it is paid to the house where you grew up. The combination of old and modern created a unique, cozy and quiet atmosphere. We run a Cooking School in the same building and, for long stays you'll be our guests for a dinner. We're in the country side of Assisi, right in the middle of Umbria. The space We wanted to keep the house's soul, natural, simple and sustainable and soberly adding the modern comforts. The well equipped kitchen has the all basics you need to cook (appliances & ingredients). At your arrival you will find a complimentary bottle of local wine and items for the breakfast (just) of the first morning. The floor heating and cooling system ensures a comfortable and natural temperature all year round. Wi-fi indoor and outdoor. The apartment has its private courtyard while the large garden is shared. We run a Cooking School in the same building and, FOR STAYS UP TO 7 NIGHTS, you get, INCLUDED IN THE PRICE, A 4-COURSES-DINNER (20:00-21:30). We're located in the country side of Assisi, right in the middle of Umbria. In the garden, from May to October, guests can enjoy a hot tub (2 people capacity). Guest access The parking is free and located just outside the gate. We're at 10 min from Assisi, 25 min from Perugia, at 40 min from Spoleto, at 25 min from Montefalco, at 10 min from Torgiano, at 45 min from Todi, at 50 min from Gubbio and Orvieto, at 40 min from Trasimeno lake and 1 hour from Sibillini Park Mountains. The City Tax is not included in the rate, it is required the payment by cash at the arrival (2 euro, per person, per day, for a max of 3 days). Other things to note - For stays of 7 or more nights, there is a dinner included. - We do require shoes off in the house and we do not iron the linen and towels. - The City Tax is not included and it will be collected, by cash, at the arrival (2 euro per person, per day for a max of 3 days). - We accept pets of small-medium size.
