Room on the 1st floor. Access to shared terraces in front of and behind the house (kitchen). You can get to the city quickly and directly with the nearby subway. The room is only available for long-term stays, such as internships, seminars, work for a limited period of time. (New regulation of the City of Vienna) Stays of at least 1 month are preferred. Minimum stay 3 weeks. The space The room is equipped with a mini fridge, TV & desk, as well as a wardrobe and is therefore intended for longer stays. The shared kitchen-living room with its own dining area and access to one of the 2 terraces is located on the ground floor. The overnight price includes - except water & electricity - bedding (beds are made before arrival), Internet and towels. As previous guests have confirmed, it is a nice and quiet room where you sleep well. Use washing machine and dryer in consultation. When using the kitchen, the kitchen must be left clean. In the shared kitchen there is a dishwasher, as well as a toaster, kettle, blender and cooking and dining utensils. Possibility of ironing would be available (please ask) There are 2 cats in our household. (Beware of cat allergies!). We live in a very green residential complex with terraced houses and apartments. There are families living here, but also people without children. It is very quiet here at night (no traffic noise). From spring to autumn you can travel by bike or scooter. The University of Veterinary Medicine, the Vienna International Center & and the city garden of Vienna with park are in the surrounding area. Kagran is close to the Alte Donau Park. You can get into the city quickly by U-Bahn (subway). At the subway station there is a big shopping mall with restaurants and cinema. Bus is almost in front of the house (3 min) and subway line 1 or 2 are nearby (2-3 stops by bus in about 10 min). Walking distance in about 15-20 minutes. There is a storage room for bicycles. From the airport you can take the S-Bahn to Praterstern and then the U1 to us (Kagran). Since our cottage is located in the middle of a residential complex, our guests should not cause any noise. The house is a single-family house, so the living areas cannot be completely separated and there is a certain "family atmosphere". We desire guests who appreciate this and treat us with honesty. Just as we are happy to leave the guest rooms completely to you during your stay. Guest access The house entrance is used by all residents. The rooms on the 2nd floor are accessible via the house's own stairs. In the kitchen there is a refrigerator and small freezer for guests. As well as a guest cupboard. The dining area in the kitchen is available to all residents of the house. In the room there is a mini fridge and also the possibility to store food. The bathroom on the 2nd floor is shared. However, it is mainly reserved for the guests of the two rooms. During your stay After the children have moved out, the house is currently only inhabited by my husband, me and possibly another long-term guest. We ourselves travel a lot. The shared use of the kitchen usually works smoothly, which is also ensured by our domestic help. Other things to note The city of Vienna has ensured that people who are not residents can only park longer in Park & Ride garages. Since 7/1/24, short-term (tourist) rentals in Vienna are no longer allowed privately. Therefore, we ask interns, students & guests from abroad to register for the duration of their stay with us. This is usually also required by the employer. Unfortunately, we can no longer accept purely tourist bookings.
