Rural Escape Dome with Hot Tub in Whixall

Geodesic Dome with wood-fired hot tub in the heart of Shropshire countryside. Situated in a 3 acre paddock on our family small holding. Getting around we would suggest you have a car or bike as there is no public transport or cabs. Please note we are a working farm so you will see and hear tractors during your stay. Our family are also keen equestrians so you will also see horses. There is also a Glamping Cabin in the field so you may see other guests during your stay. The space When you arrive at The Croft you can park your car in our onsite carpark from there you will find a sweeping stone path to The Acorn Dome. The dome is situated within a 3 acre meadow on a raised wooden decking overlooking the natural pond, field after field and distant view of the Welsh hills. You can see our family home from the pod along with The Moss Shed (also a glamping pod). Inside of the dome there is a king size bed with crisp white bed linen overlooking the decking and pond, a comfy sofa with blankets for snuggling down at night next to the log burner inside of the dome. The kitchen is equipped with cookware and tableware, it also has fridge, hob and microwave. Tea, coffee and hot chocolate also provided. The bathroom is also located within the dome in a private room fitted with power shower, WC, sink, towel rail, mirror (with shave socket) and fluffy white towels and robes. Outside of the dome the decking is lit with festoon lights to make your evenings magical whilst relaxing on the lounge set or in the wood fired hot tub. There is a BBQ too! Guest access Rural living means rural modes of transport, bring your bike, running/walking shoes and even your pony (contact us if you wish to bring your pony/horse, additional charges will apply). If you are travelling to us by car there is ample of free parking on our site. Other things to note We live onsite with our children and animals. If needed, we're only a phone call/message away. You will be able to self check-in upon arrival. Upon confirmation of booking we will forward more information about our local community and county so you can choose restaurants, walks and destinations like a local. LOGS & CHARCOAL We provide 3 boxes of logs for the hot tub use and 1 box of logs inside. We provide 1 bag of charcoal for 1 BBQ. Additional logs & charcoal can be purchased.
