Tranquil Chalet

A private, tranquil chalet, minutes from Praa Sands beach and the South West Coast Path. For walkers it's an ideal place for overnight stays and for beach lovers it's a short stroll down a hill. It's a great place to stay for sight seeing and of course, surfing... we have outside showers for washing off surfboards and wetsuits and indoor showers to warm up. A BBQ is available and the private garden to just relax and unwind... watch the sun setting: somewhere to come and forget about real life! The space A comfy sitting/dining area with sofa, table and chairs etc, cooking provisions (inc. microwave, fridge with small freezer, slow cooker, kettle toasters and hob). Private warm shower and toilet facilities are just a few steps away from the living space and next door is the bedroom with a comfy double bed, clothes hanging space and a sofa that converts into a double bed - so perfect for friends! When you arrive there will always be tea, coffee, salt/pepper, oil and milk. Sometimes eggs depending on the whim of the bantams! There's a table and chairs for outside dining and relaxing. It's all simple, tidy and clean... a great break from 'real life'. The set up is for sleeping two. If you want to come as a three or four, please let me know and we’ll try to accommodate you. Please note there would be an extra charge for more than two. It's also worth noting there is a small open pond and (friendly) roaming bantams! The local shops are just down the road (Spar is easy to walk to and Co-op a short drive), as is the beach and lovely Cornish pubs and restaurants. If you're walkers and we are around we'd be happy to collect from your end destination. We have millions of suggestions of beautiful places to see and places to visit. We're avid walkers, swimmers and surfers so can help with suggestions for this too... all dependent on weather so we won't list them here. We're always happy to help when you're staying. Other things to note Falmouth, St Ives, Mousehole, Heligan and the Eden Project, Porthleven and Penzance as well as great archeological sites are all an easy drive from us. We've walked most of the coast path and have sat sitting watching the sun go down over the sea.... we're happy to chat about our favourite places to visit. Hoping to stay with friends?
