Want to go green? Come and have a good time and enjoy the calm of the Haut-Jurassien by staying with us, in this duplex cottage, adjoining the farm and totally independent. You will also enjoy an outdoor terrace located under the apple trees. Limited networks. Possibility to accommodate a family with children (please let us know when booking). We will be happy to advise you to make your stay as pleasant as possible. The space The Gîte is part of the Domaine des Balzanes, an equestrian farm welcoming retired or convalescent horses and donkeys, who are pampered by Stefanny throughout the year. It is adjoining the farm but has an entrance and equipment making it completely independent. Ideal for a couple with children (a double bed upstairs and a sofa bed in the living room) looking for calm and nature, you will enjoy the places and the richness offered by the surrounding landscapes (hiking, mountain biking, lakes, rivers and waterfalls, canyoning, museums, local cheese factories, via-ferrata etc.). Guest access The Gîte is independent and therefore exclusively reserved for tenants. The terrace under the apple trees is freely accessible. Other things to note - As you have understood, the Gîte is located within the farm, so it is a place of life and work where the animals of the boarding house and the association Les Sabots du Bonheur (horses, donkeys, pigs, calves, goats, rabbits, dogs and cats...) and men (we work around the Estate) live together. Tractors and other agricultural vehicles are sometimes driven around the farm, causing very relative noise pollution. Otherwise, it's absolute calm :-) - Possibility of accommodating the horses of passing riders. Provide an additional €20/night in a box (spacious with litter and hay) and €10/night in the meadow, payable on site.
