After a leisurely hike from Madulain or Zuoz, you will reach the Alp Es-Cha Dadour, an oasis in the middle of a beautiful high mountain landscape with impressive views. The rooms are designed in the style of alpine life. It is a managed alpine pasture with an attached cheese dairy and a guest house. You can watch the milking and cheese making. Hikes are possible from here throughout the area and are beautiful. During your stay I work as a cheesemaker/dairy farmer on the alpine pasture and am there every day until at least 4:00 pm.
