Located below the village, the house is completely independent, without neighbors, and offers absolute calm as well as stunning views of the valley and the maquis. The house is spread over 3 levels, ideal for families or stays with friends, each of whom can enjoy their space and terraces. Ground floor - Large living room with kitchen and dining room opening onto a spacious terrace with barbecue, perfect for summer meals facing the landscape and in the shade of the vine pergola. - Equipped kitchen: dishwasher, oven, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine, coffee machine, kettle, toaster. ➡️ The accommodation voluntarily does not have a television, in order to promote disconnection and shared moments. The trails of the Castagniccia d'Orezza, the ascent of the San Pedrone or the paths around San Anghjulu offer spectacular panoramas between chestnut forests, hilltop villages and wild ridges. Three recently developed routes (6 km, 13 km and 23 km) allow you to discover an authentic and preserved Corsica. The Sant'Anghjulu trail starts directly at the village fountain. Chestnut forests, hilltop villages and spectacular panoramic views make this place a real nature playground. An electric car charging station is available at Monte Town Hall (about 1 km). ⚠️ Note for families: The wooden stairs are steep, true to the original architecture. A ramp is present. We offer a high chair and crib for rent (via our concierge); parents remain responsible for the suitability of the accommodation for their children. Guest access Transportation: If you choose to come by car (essential), you can park in our private parking space next to the village square. You have to take small roads to access the village. An electric car charging station is available at Monte Town Hall (about 1 km). When it comes to other modes of transportation, here's some information you may find helpful: - Commercial port: Bastia 35 km (about 45 minutes by car) - Nearest airport: Bastia Poretta 17 km away (about 26 minutes by car) Other things to note Seasonal activities The huts, beach restaurants and water activities are open from June to September. Out of season, you will enjoy a quiet, natural environment, ideal for unwinding. Please note that a vehicle is paramount to enjoy your stay. - Linens and towels included. - Wifi is included for free. - No air conditioning but the stone house is well insulated and ventilated. - Childcare equipment available as an option, for an additional fee. - The end of stay cleaning includes the preparation of the accommodation for future visitors.
