The Bolthole @ Park Farm

The Bolthole is a cute & quirky tiny space in quaint Bowlish, 10 minutes from Wells and Pilton. Think ‘glamping’ but with a comfy double bed, good WIFI (new feature) TV, heating, hot water & mains electrics. It’s a great base for a cosy weekend getaway. Stargaze with the outdoor fire burning and, weather permitting, breakfast Al fresco in this peaceful elevated spot. It’s a lovely place to stay and explore Somerset's known and hidden gems, pubs & beautiful countryside. The space The Bolthole is a pretty, little old stone building on the edge of a field. It's tiny (no cat swinging please), more "off-grid" than "on" and definitely an "eat out to help out" kind of place but it's also idyllic and a completely unique quirky & romantic place to stay in. There are a few home comforts including Netflix (no normal TV), a BBQ, a gorgeous outdoor fire that you will spend hours gazing at but this is not the place to cook up a 3 course lunch... although if you see that as a fun challenge then you're making the right decision to come. Well behaved pets are very welcome (£30 each) and the wood burner inside is electric. Guest access There is parking for one car at The Bolthole. There are steps and a path from the car up to the Bolthole. Other things to note Dogs are welcome although we do charge an extra £30 per pet payable on arrival. We have WIFI at the bolthole The main source of TV entertainment is Netflix. If you want to watch normal TV then using an ipad or laptop to watch BBC, ITV is the way to go. The wood burning stove inside is electric but there is a gorgeous outdoor fire. We can provide wood, firelighters and matches for £20 on request.
