Originally built in 1749 and used by the Burgher Kirk congregation, it was gifted to the St Andrews Preservation Trust in 1954 and reconstructed into a charming cottage. The space The cottage has been respectfully refurbished to an exceedingly high standard. The lounge has an atrium ceiling and feature fireplace, is comfortably furnished with electric high level blinds, a flat screen television, dvd player, freeview and wireless WiFi. The dining kitchen has a range of brand new appliances including induction hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, fridge with freezer compartment and washing machine. The shower room has a new bathroom suite comprising wc, wash hand basin, walk in shower and heated towel rail. The bedroom is located upstairs and has a new double bed, large wardrobe area, dressing table and chest of drawers. The property also provides an ironing board and iron, hairdryer, clothes airer, hoover and all kitchen ware. In the courtyard to the front of the property there is a decked seating area. Guest access Guests have full use of the entire property and courtyard. Other things to note There is a smart TV with Netflix and super fast BT broadband. Parking is available in car parks at Argyle Street North and Argyle Street South (approximately a 5 minute walk from the apartment) - charged at £3.80 if using coins or £4.20 if using the RingGo app- this is for a 24 hour period. Street parking on South Street (outside the apartment) is also available - charged at £1.10 for one hour or £2.20 for two hours - maximum stay is 2 hours - charges only apply between 9am & 5pm. Free street parking is available within a ten minute walk from South Street eg Kinnessburn or Petheram Bridge car park.
