A spacious country cottage full of unique charms and character located in a small village. The tiered garden has an elevated hot tub area set in peaceful woodlands and offering beautiful views of the Severn estuary and Wales. Just walking distance to the National Trust Sand Point this is a great base to explore the North Somerset coastline, Mendips and many other places of interest. Just 10 minutes from the motorway and train station, there is easy access to Devon, Bristol and Wales. The space Having four bedrooms this property can sleep up to 6 adults and 3 children. Ideally suited to a large family or multiple families sharing. Enjoy the comfort of separate and spacious living and dining areas. A large open plan kitchen and dining room comes well equipped with an Aga cooker to provide a great social space in which you can enjoy meals and family gatherings. The lounge offers comfortable evenings in front of the TV and wood burning stove which is also linked to a separate snug where the kids can enjoy plenty of games , watch a movie or spend some time on the PS4. The master attic bedroom offers a double bed and ensuite with shower. Bedrooms two and three on the first floor have double beds, and bedroom four has a bunk bed with a trundle bed to accommodate up to 3 children. Although no cots are provided there would be space to accomodate infants in Bedrooms 1 and 2 if guests bring travel cots. Outdoors there is a patio where warm evenings can be spent enjoying the woodland setting with a BBQ, and a lawn provides some nice space to kick a ball around or play games. After a hard day of exploring the local area, relax in the newly refurbished decked hot tub and seating area which is perfectly positioned to enjoy the beautiful and unobstructed views from the woodland setting. The decking area is well lit and so offers a place to relax day or evening. The property offers off road parking for up to 4 cars. There is a separate annexe away from the house which shares the drive and may be occupied (by the hosts max. 1 car) at the time of booking however guests will have sole use of the gardens and outdoor areas. Guest access Guests have access to all areas in the house (including all wardrobes / drawers) with the exception of one small room upstairs and cupboard in the main bedroom ensuite, which are used for host storage. No access to the annexe or the sheds. However, there is space in the utility / garden room for guest bikes etc. Games for the house and garden will be available for guests to use. Other things to note We have made the decision not to increase our nightly prices to reflect the energy price hike, but we politely request that guests are respectful of energy usage during their stay I.e. turning lights / appliances off when not in use etc. In particular please make sure the hot tub lid is closed and the jets are turned off at all times when not in use. Please also ensure that all garden and decking lighting is turned off overnight and when not in use.
