The studio is ideal for 1 person. Due to its central yet unusually quiet location, it is suitable for both a vacation and a business trip. Thanks to its separate entrance, it ensures flexibility and privacy. The space :: About the accommodation :: The newly renovated studio is located in a converted cottage that adjoins the main house we live in. The entire building is at the end of a dead end road. The separate entrance to the studio is only accessible via the courtyard entrance and thus ensures a high degree of privacy and tranquility. The view from the large windows falls on a meadow and provides idyll and relaxation. In 10 minutes you can reach the wooded Lochbachtal on foot, which invites you to take a walk/jog. :: Amenities/furnishings :: - Sleeping and living area The property has a floating bed (160 cm wide). Under the floating bed is the living area with a cozy, spacious sofa and a modern flat-screen TV. The built-in fireplace underlines the visual coziness, but is not in operation and must not be used. - Dining and working area A large counter was custom-made at the windows, which serves as a dining area as well as a workplace. Required sockets and connections are provided accordingly. Free Wi-Fi is also available for guests. The shutters are electrically operated. - Kitchen In the kitchen there is a built-in dishwasher and an induction stovetop in addition to the necessary kitchen utensils. The coffee machine takes care of a little break. - Bathroom In addition to a shower, toilet and washing facilities, there is a modern washing machine in the bathroom. :: Surroundings :: Solingen city center is approx. 5 minutes by car, the main train station is about 12 minutes by car from the property. The nearest bus stop is a 5-minute walk. Bus line 681 runs here, which also takes you directly to the city center and the main train station. Solingen itself has a lot to offer for every taste and need. As a big city in the middle of the Bergisches Land, there is much to discover here. Nature lovers will love the range of hiking opportunities, varied bike/mountain bike tours and beautiful landscapes to linger. Those interested in culture will also get their money's worth: with the Müngsten Bridge, Burg Castle, various museums and much more. If you would like to visit the surrounding metropolises (Cologne, Düsseldorf, Ruhr area, etc.), Solingen is also the right place.
