Ours is in the Centre - Köln Deutz, This is a well appointed, newly furnished and renovated studio apartment. It is on the first floor of a listed 19th century building and is available all year for visitors to Cologne. It has solid wood floors, marble-tiled bathroom, fully equipped kitchenette, flat screen TV with CNN and quick internet (URL HIDDEN) has a high ceiling to enhance the feeling of space and adjustable blinds to prevent sun glare. We provide a comfortable new double bed with duvets and pillows with fresh linen. It is very centrally located on a street with character. You can walk to the trade fair/exhibition center, river Rhine, Deutz train station (from where a direct train takes you to the airport in 12 minutes) and underground lines 1, 3, 4, 7 an 9 in less than ten minutes. The Cathedral and Hauptbahnhof are only 15 minutes by foot. On crossing the Rhine bridges you are in the old town and you will have perfect views of the river and cathedral. A lively street with restaurants, bars, bakeries, organic supermarket, pharmacies, major banks, hairdressers, copy shop, beauty parlor and many small shops is just around the corner. Some recommendations all within 2 - 5 minutes walk: °Sushi Haus, clean and reasonably priced °Sion Braues Bier Haus with good pub food and midday special °Villa Mathilde - a great cafe 50 metres from the apartment serves breakfast °Va Piano Italian Restaurant or La Reine Tapas Bar or HoteLux Bar for late drinking all on the street named Von Sandt Platz. There are also several hairdressers and banks with cash machines for all major credit cards on the main street Deutzer Freiheit. The apartment is suitable for long stays as we have kitchen, fridge,storage space,and everything else you need. Parking close by for Euro 4.- per day. Deutz is a charming and friendly part of Cologne where it is safe to walk at night and where you will feel at home from the moment you arrive.We bet that by the time you leave you will feel like a local and will be planning your next visit. Our cleaning staff have been personally trained by us and use fresh face masks and gloves with every cleaning. In addition to the commercially available cleaning agents, we use alcoholic disinfectants to clean the surfaces and wash our laundry as usual with an antibacterial hygiene cleaner. We continue to monitor the situation related to the Corona Virus (COVID-19) closely and follow the recommendations of governments, health authorities and medical experts. Parking is difficult but we can advise you of parking spaces nearby where you can park for E4.- per day We give all visitors a map of Cologne and umbrellas for their personal use.
