The space The house is spread over two levels: the entrance leads to the first double bedroom and to a comfortable stone staircase leading to the upper floor. Halfway up the stairs is a spacious bathroom, while the top of the stairs opens into a bright living and dining room, which overlooks two additional double bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. All floors feature warm larch wood. Outside, a furnished terrace allows for outdoor breakfast and dining (total sleeping capacity: 7, arranged as 2+2+2+1). Free public parking is available just a few meters from the entrance gate. Historical notes: The building, featuring a Liberty-style facade and a terrace adorned with wrought-iron arches, housed the offices of the "Santa Margherita" silver-bearing galena mine at the end of the 19th century, managed by great-great-grandfather Carlo Gerosa. Located in Valle Fontana near the Premelè Bridge, the mine was active since the time of the Sforza family and is now closed for safety reasons. The impressive stone millstone used for processing minerals is still visible today as a fountain in the village of Casacce. Guest access Upon request, guests have exclusive access to the historic spaces of Casa Cassan: the 15th-century cellars, the porticoes, the courtyards, and the enchanting garden with its rose garden, orchard, and vegetable garden overlooking the Venetian Alps (Orobie). The Winter Garden also features a rich library dedicated to local history and culture. Surrounded by the scent of flowers and aromatic herbs, these shared spaces are designed as a haven of peace, reading, and well-being. To preserve this tranquil atmosphere, we kindly ask guests to refrain from noisy games and to note that dogs are not permitted in the historic garden. The property also features a prestigious triple frescoed hall, ideal for events, courses, exhibitions, photo shoots, conferences, yoga practice, concerts, and intimate celebrations. The venue comes fully equipped with Wi-Fi, a high-definition projector and screen, a microphone, a mixer, and a high-fidelity sound system.
