L'Oursière, an exceptional setting

It is an architect's house with large spaces, located at the edge of a wood at the foot of Mt Lozère. Placed at a height, it offers stunning views of the Florac Valley and the emblematic Rochefort rock of the Cévennes National Park The space The architecture of this house is both very contemporary with its large volumes but fits completely into the local landscape with the significant use of lauze. The living room of about 50 m2 overlooks a large terrace sheltered by a majestic oak tree. The kitchen equipped with an electric oven, microwave, hot plates, dishwasher, fridge and freezer also overlooks a terrace. On the half-floor, the library overlooks the living room and two double bedrooms each have their own bathroom. The shared toilets are in the hallway that leads to the bedrooms. Upstairs is an open room with a single bed and a bunk bed ideal for three people. The level also consists of a double bedroom with a large terrace and a shared bathroom. The house is therefore equipped with 2 toilets. Guest access You will have access to the whole house. In summer you can swim in the nearby river. In winter, the wood-burning stove is available to warm you up or to cook chestnuts. In the mid-season it is very pleasant to walk around the estate and pick mushrooms in the forest. Other things to note Please note for Sheets and Towels: We provide them free of charge for stays of 7 days minimum. However, for stays of less than 7 days, a supplement will be requested for linens: €6 per bed set and €2 per towel. You can also bring your own if you prefer.
