Tranquil Cotswold retreat in beautiful Slad Valley

A comfortable, well equipped loft apartment situated in a tranquil hamlet in the heart of the Slad Valley. Stroud town centre (1.5 miles) and the nearest pub, The Woolpack Inn, Slad is just 15-20 mins stroll. Enjoy the green rolling hills, ancient beech woodland, bright starry skies and plenty of fresh air. A perfect escape for couples looking to walk, cycle, enjoy wildlife or just relax, dream and explore local Cotswold shops and cafes. Happy to say WiFi service is good in the loft! The space The loft apartment is a self contained studio flat, located up a short external flight of stone steps. (9 steps in all). The location offers exceptional views of the surrounding valley countryside. The property includes a king size bed, two seater sofa and wall mounted TV. WiFi is available. There is a dining table and two chairs and a small kitchenette. The kitchen has a fridge with freezer compartment, kettle, toaster and microwave. Also, a basic set of crockery / cutlery etc. Tea, coffee, milk, and breakfast cereals are provided to get you started. A basket of goodies is also provided. The shower room offers a large corner shower together with WC and wash basin. The accommodation is prepared to a high standard of cleanliness with close attention to detail. Guest access The property is within the grounds of the owners house. There is ample parking and a large garden that is shared with the owners, their two children and two friendly dogs. The owner is a florist and grows many flowers for use in her arrangements. The flower patch is a riot of colour from May through to October and attracts a wide range of wildlife. We are happy for guests to enjoy the garden and can offer use of a hammock to while away lazy afternoons. Picnic rugs are also available on request. A picnic bench and bench seat are provided for guest use next to the Loft. A gas fired BBQ can be offered for use if requested too. Other things to note The property is fed by filtered and treated on-site spring water. We provide bottled water for drinking too. The property uses a septic tank waste system. Only toilet roll should be flushed. The property is heated via gas central heating. The guest can control the room temperature. Hot water is available on demand.
