Betty’s Boutique Hotel - Rose Suite

Built in 1903 Betty’s oozes old fashioned elegance and glamour of a bygone era. We have lovingly furnished Bettys with our own personal antiques and treasures. We the owners live on the premises so it really is a home from home. We have amazing views of the Indian Ocean and the Outeniqua Mountains from our huge covered Stoep/ Terrace, which is where you can feast on our delicious breakfasts, and traditional afternoon Teas. The large pool area and gardens are perfect for relaxing in. The space The Rose Suite is so called as it has a floral romantic feel with lots of pinks and many gold framed old pictures featuring an assortment of flowers and particularly roses. It is our second largest room and has 2 comfortable armchairs to relax in . It has a modern en suite bathroom with his n her basins and a walk in large shower . There is also a flat screen tv with DSTV channels , AC and electric blankets in winter too, Guest access We have a beautiful large lounge, with a fireplace too, in winter relax by our roaring log fire, and also play on our precious pool table brought from England. We have recently opened our Speakeasy cellar bar underneath the stoep, based on the 1920’s era of prohibition of alcohol, it’s hidden away accessed by a secret staircase . You can enjoy our tapas down there in the evening too without having to leave Betty’s to find your evening meal . The large stoep is our most used space as you can eat breakfast there, or relax with a glass of wine, read a book or just be..... the views out to sea and the mountains beyond are truly amazing . Every Weds & Saturday we serve our Traditional English High Teas there , please let us know if you wish to book a table as it’s very popular . Another place to relax is by the large swimming pool on our loungers or you can sit in the stunning gardens on our quiet bench and watch the sun go down ...truly a place of calmness. At Betty’s you will never feel cramped by other guests , there is a always a different place to sit . We have private parking on site too behind electric gates , so you don’t need to worry about your car . Other things to note Please note extra an extra child under 12 can be accommodated in this room on a small extra bed @R200 per night . The other rooms apart from The Royal are for 2 adults only.
