Cozy Alpine living

Chalet Schiltwald welcomes you to car-free Wengen (only accessible by a 12-minute train ride from Lauterbrunnen) in the beautiful Jungfrau region. We are located right at the finish line of the international Lauberhorn races. The Innerwenger chairlift - 20 meters behind the house - takes you to the ski resort. Our chalet is a 20-minute walk or 5 minutes by taxi from Wengen train station. Here is the starting point of countless beautiful hikes. The space The cozy apartment with sun terrace and large garden is located on the first floor of Chalet Schiltwald. The 2-room apartment with approx. 50 m² consists of a living room (ceiling height 180 cm) with a comfortable sofa and a dining table as well as a cozy sitting area with magnificent views of the mountains opposite. The bedroom consists of a rustic bed made of solid wood, two comfortable armchairs and a wardrobe. The bathroom is newly renovated and offers wonderful showering pleasure. The kitchen is well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired. Bed sheets and towels are of course available. On the large wooden terrace and in the garden with fireplace and fountain you will quickly feel comfortable and enjoy the quiet mountains. Guest access Terrace and garden area in front of the house. Washing machine in the building, on request. Other things to note The ski slopes to the finish of the Lauberhorn races are demanding. Not really suitable for beginners. The ski schools are located in the village.
